Afternoon Manga Furoku
I know, I know. I created this website in order to focus specifically on TV-series related artwork (and yes, the novel counts, since it's set in the TV anime continuity). But sometimes an issue of Afternoon magazine will come with an Ah! My Goddess manga-related goodie that I can't help but share. So here's some Afternoon manga-styled furoku for you. Enjoy!
By the way, scans of anime-related furoku items in Afternoon magazine are in the Other Scans gallery. This section is for manga-related furoku only.

These images are ripped from the Kindan no "Daigassaku" Muubii (Forbidden "Big Collaboration" Movie) CD-ROM, in which the Afternoon manga artists illustrate each other's works. From left to right, we have ISUTOSHI (Tende Freeze!), Hitoshi Iwaaki (Kiseiju AKA Parasyte), Satoshi Karasuya (no idea - anybody?), and Shimoku Kio (Genshiken). |

Furoku Notepad and Volume 35 cover artwork (for comparison's sake), scanned by me. Yeah, I included a scan of the cover of manga volume 35, so that you can see what the entire image is supposed to look like.

Furoku Handkerchief and packaging, scanned by me. My apologies that the top of the handkerchief is cut off, but I couldn't fit it all on my scanner bed. Anyway, this image was also used as the frontpiece for chapter 175 of the manga. |

Advertisement, Manga Timeline, and autographed Fujishima sketch, scanned by me. On the far left is part of a pullout advertisement. Next we have three pages of an Ah! My Goddess manga timeline, which I guess is to help us gear up for the upcoming 20th anniversary of the manga. Finally, here's a scan of an autographed sketch by Kosuke Fujishima, which Japanese residents can enter a lottery drawing to win.

Furoku Towel and Volume 36 cover artwork (for comparison's sake), scanned by me. Yeah, I included a scan of the cover of manga volume 36, so that you can see what the original image is supposed to look like. And no, I don't normally scan Afternoon covers, since most of the Ah! My Goddess cover artwork is repeated from tankouban covers. But this month's cover is an original Belldandy watercolor, so it's going here. This is definitely not the first time that Belldandy has graced the cover of Afternoon in the past four years, but it's the first time that I'm putting an Afternoon cover in this gallery. ;) |

Furoku postcard, scanned by me. This is a really unusual "long" postcard. It's not the standard size or shape of a regular postcard, but at least it's still mailable. I would assume. |
