Music Downloads: Page 1 of 2
On this page you will find a complete collection of vocal music from the Ah! My Goddess TV series. (Well, except for the OP/ED themes, since I've only included TV-sized versions and not the full versions.) If you're interested in listening to some background music instead, please visit page two of the music downloads.
Music Downloads: OP/ED Themes TV Sized
Once again, these are all TV-sized (1:30 long) versions.
Music Downloads: Image Songs (from the 'Variety Album' CD Series)
The Ah! My Goddess Variety Album CDs are a mixture of drama and image songs from the TV series. There are three CDs total. Each CD features a very cute sound drama, and three image songs. Do the math, and you'll figure out that three CDs and three songs on each CD means nine image songs total. You will find all nine songs below, posted in chronological order.
All of the following songs are full-length.
Keiichi (Masami Kikuchi): FOR YOU ~ Ai no Hana wo Sasagetai [The Flower of Love, I Offer You]
The manga established that Keiichi actually has a beautiful singing voice, but now you can hear for yourself.
Tamiya and Ootaki (Kiyoyuki Yanada and Issei Futamata):
Denkousekka ni Onkochishin [Learning from the Past at Lightning Speed]
Surprisingly, Tamiya and Ootaki can harmonize pretty darn well. Now if only they could do something about the fact that this song sucks. But then again, the song does convey their personalities perfectly.
Belldandy (Kikoku Inoue): Kokoro no Mama ni [The State of My Heart]
Yes, it's a beautiful song. What else would you expect from Belldandy? (Now, guess what the "state of her heart" is. No really, guess.)
Skuld (Aya Hisakawa) and Megumi (Yuriko Fuchizaki): Senobishite MY LOVE [On Tiptoe MY LOVE]
I think this one sounds the most like an "annoying typical anime song." Maybe the synthesized instruments and heavy, pseudo-mechanical beat fit Skuld's personality, though. She and Megumi sound really good together!
Sayoko (Momiko Noto): Unmei no Yokan [Premonition of Destiny]
Wow, Sayoko's singing voice is really lovely (very airy and sad) in this song.
Urd (Yumi Touma): Koi nara Yorokonde! [Leave Romance to Me!]
Samba! Samba! Samba! Because the world needs to hear Urd's typically energetic, over-the-top tribute to latin music.
Skuld (Aya Hisakawa): Hane ni Oeta Sneaker [Sneaker Born of Wings]
This song makes little sense in either Japanese or English. But it is a fun, energetic, rock-out type tune.
Keiichi (Masami Kikuchi) and Belldandy (Kikoku Inoue):
Koko yori Towa ni [Not Earthbound, but Toward Eternity]
A slow, waltzy duet for Belldandy and Keiichi. Although if you ask me, the song comes off more lethargic than it does romantic. It sounds like Keiichi and Belldandy are doing karoake while half-asleep.
Belldandy, Urd, Skuld: Tabidachi no Kaze [Journey's Wind]
Well, you can trust the Variety Album series to save the worst for last. That's all that I can really say about this awful song, which should have been much better than it was.
Music Downloads: Image Songs (from the 'Drama Album' CD Series)
The second season of the anime TV series, Ah! My Goddess Sorezore no Tsubasa, saw the release of two drama CDs. The drama CDs are entitled, unimaginatively, Sorezore no Tsubasa Drama CD 1, etc. There is one character song on each Drama CD.
All of the following songs are full-length.
Belldandy (Kikoku Inoue): FLY TO YOU
An upbeat, cheerful, but still lovely song for Belldandy. This sounds like the most typical "anime anthem" of the bunch, but I still like it a lot.
Belldandy (Kikoku Inoue): Kaze no Melody [The Wind's Melody]
A slow and lovely song, with some synthesized background accompaniment that adds a surreal feeling. This song evokes both the down-to-earth feeling of Belldandy's personality, and the otherwordly dimension of her computer-like Goddess self.

Here are a few songs ripped from the TV anime, which never made it onto any soundtracks.
