Finally, Shiho is so overjoyed when the demons vanish, that she gives Keiichi a kiss. This causes Belldandy to ignite a "jealousy storm" that nearly tears the temple apart. Shiho is convinced that the storm is evidence of a greater demonic presence to exorcise. Urd, however, knows differently - and tells Keiichi, "Belldandy isn't a doll... Hild keeps preventing Belldandy from approaching Keiichi, however, so Urd takes it upon herself to "distract" Hild long enough to let Belldandy speak to Keiichi. But Urd is no match for the Daimakaichou, of course. Hild interrupts Keiichi and Belldandy's moment, and goads Belldandy into unleashing the Jealousy Storm of the Century. "Those are your true feelings," Hild says, watching as Belldandy is consumed by darkness, "and your true power." But Hild forgot about something - Keiichi, who is not a passive pawn. Keiichi steps forward and stops Belldandy's meltdown, simply by asking her if she likes snow. Finally, Keiichi turns to Hild and says, "I need to talk to you about something." He breaks up with her. When Hild asks why, he simply answers, "Because you know that you never really loved me." Later he returns to Belldandy and, gathering up his courage, asks her out: "Will you go to the museum with me?!" Belldandy answers, "Yes. In five years!" Then she vanishes, returning to the future.
