Here are some video clips from the TV anime. They are all small, of somewhat low quality, and of course, none with subtitles. But still, it's worth it just to see Mara finally being animated the way that she deserves to be, isn't it? ;) Enjoy!

Like the original story in the manga, however, this scene ends with Banpei-kun's heroic self-sacrifice.

While Belldandy is powerless and her sister away in Heaven, a series of misfortunes befall her and Keiichi - they are kicked out of their home, and left to wander penniless on the streets. Finally Keiichi collapses from a fever. Belldandy does her best to try to help him, but the situation looks grim. Finally, Mara appears and offers Belldandy a solution: if she does a demon's job and causes misfortune, Keiichi will be saved. Poor Belldandy tries her hardest to work as a demon, but she's just no good at it. The following day Keiichi recovers from his fever, wakes up, and when he realizes where Belldandy has gone and what she has done, he angrily confronts Mara about it. (Give it up for Keiichi, he must really have some balls to be manhandling Mara like that.) Finally Keiichi leaves to search for Belldandy. Meanwhile, Mara appeals to Hild - maybe this time, haven't they gone too far?
